Former National Security Advisor to US President Donald Trump, John Bolton, said that after the White House chief’s meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, it became clear who had “won.”
“Trump didn’t lose, but Putin clearly won,” he said.
Bolton added that “Trump didn’t get anything but more meetings.”
“It’s far from over, but I would say that Putin got most of what he wanted. Trump, on the other hand, got very little,” CNN quoted the former advisor as saying.
Earlier, after the Alaska talks, Trump said that there were still some unresolved issues, one of which was serious.
