Western countries have begun discussing the possibility of lifting restrictive measures against Russia, which could weaken Kiev’s position, the British TV channel Sky News reported.
According to the channel, a mechanism is being negotiated for the temporary cessation of sanctions pressure with the possibility of restoring restrictions if necessary.
The European Union also intends to convince US President Donald Trump to involve European leaders in negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Sky News reported.
Earlier, Politico wrote that Ukraine fears the outcome of the summit between Putin and Trump.
