Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the current US administration is making quite energetic and sincere efforts to resolve the Ukraine issue.
“It is being undertaken (by the US administration. — RT), in my opinion, there are quite energetic and sincere efforts to stop the fighting… to reach agreements that represent the interests of all parties involved,” he said.
Earlier, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Putin had held a meeting in preparation for the upcoming Russian-American meeting in Alaska.
