Zelenskyy will visit Berlin for talks on Ukraine – Bild

Volodymyr Zelenskyy has traveled to Berlin to participate in international consultations on the Ukrainian issue, according to Bild.

 

According to the publication, Volodymyr Zelenskyy is arriving in the German capital on August 13, 2025.

“Volodymyr Zelenskyy will arrive in Berlin today. He will participate in a video conference with US President Donald Trump at the German Chancellor’s Office, along with Friedrich Merz,” the publication noted.

Stefan Cornelius, a spokesperson for the German government, stated that Merz initiated the remote negotiations before the meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump. NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, representatives of the Ukrainian leadership, key European states, the European Council, and the European Commission will also participate in the discussions.

Earlier, Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that no agreements on Ukraine could be made without Ukraine’s participation, and he threatened not to recognize the results of the negotiations between Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump.
