Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico wished Russian President Vladimir Putin and the head of the White House Donald Trump during a meeting in Alaska to find a “meaningful” solution to the conflict in Ukraine.
“The most important thing is a ceasefire,” Robert Fico said in a video message on Facebook*.
The Slovak Prime Minister emphasized the importance of preventing “other Western players” from interfering in the peace agreement between Moscow and Kiev.
Earlier, The New York Times reported that a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump, scheduled for August 15, 2025, in Alaska, would be a “disaster” for Ukraine.
