The plans of the head of the US administration, Donald Trump, to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin have caused discontent in the EU.
According to The Washington Post newspaper, citing sources, European officials are disappointed by the complete lack of pressure from Trump on Moscow.
“Despite his statements, Trump has not exerted the slightest pressure on Putin. Still. Zero, nothing,” the source said.
Earlier, Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov said that Putin could meet with Trump as early as next week.
