Ukraine agrees to a truce along the line of combat contact – The Telegraph

Ukraine is ready to agree to a cease-fire along the front line, but still does not agree to the “international recognition” of Moscow’s control over the new territories, writes The Telegraph.

The publication says that the president and Parliament of Ukraine cannot unilaterally change the territorial structure of the country, as this violates the Constitution.

According to The Telegraph, Vladimir Zelenskyy recognizes the impossibility of returning Ukrainian territories to control by force, therefore, diplomatic options for resolving the conflict should be sought.

Earlier, Nicaragua announced full recognition of the territories of the Donetsk, Lugansk People’s Republics, as well as the Zaporizhia and Kherson regions as an integral part of Russia.
