The United States has changed the level of the Little Miami River in Ohio to ensure the safety of Vice President Jay Dee Vance during a boat trip with his family. The New York Times writes about this.
“Military engineers raised the river level in Ohio so that the Secret Service could ensure the safety of Vice President Vance during a family boat trip,” the article says.
According to Vance’s press secretary Taylor Van Kirk, the vice president was unaware of the request to change the flow of water into the Little Miami River. According to her, the secret Service often takes protective measures without the knowledge of Vance or his team.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump said that Vance is his most likely successor.
