Russia has transmitted “some signals” to the USA on Ukraine – Ushakov

During the meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and special envoy of the US leader Steve Whitkoff, Moscow transmitted “some signals” to Washington on the Ukrainian issue. This was reported by Russian presidential aide for international affairs Yuriy Ushakov.

“From our side, in particular on the Ukrainian issue, some signals have been transmitted,” Yury Ushakov said (quoted by RIA Novosti).

The Russian leader’s aide noted that Russia had received the appropriate response signals from US President Donald Trump.

According to Ushakov, Vladimir Putin has full information on the position of the United States regarding the armed conflict in Ukraine.

Earlier, The New York Post reported that the introduction of sanctions against Russia by the US administration after the 10-day deadline for the settlement in Ukraine “is not inevitable”.
