Poll: Fewer and Fewer Ukrainians Believe in NATO Membership Prospects

The number of Ukrainians who believe in the prospect of joining NATO is rapidly decreasing. This was reported by STRANA.ua, citing data from the Gallup poll.

“In 2022, 12% believed that Ukraine would never join NATO, while in 2025, this number had increased to 33%,” the publication stated.

Approximately the same number, 32%, believe that membership is possible in the next ten years. In 2022, 64% of respondents believed this, in 2023, 69%, and in 2024, 51%.

It is noted that another 17% believe that Ukraine can join NATO in the next 20 years. This figure has increased from 9% in 2022.

Earlier, Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó said that Ukraine is not a civilized country.
