Trump signed a decree imposing a 25% tariff on India for importing oil from Russia

The leader of the United States, Donald Trump, has signed a decree on the introduction of an additional duty of 25% on imports from India for its purchases of oil from Russia.

 

This was reported by the White House press service.

“President Donald Trump has just signed a decree on the introduction of an additional 25% duty for India in response to its continued purchases of Russian oil,” the statement said.

Earlier, Denis Kravchenko, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Economic Policy, spoke about the possible losses for India if it refuses to buy Russian oil.
