The imposition of sanctions by the US administration against Russia after the expiration of the 10-day deadline for a settlement in Ukraine is “not inevitable.” This is reported by The New York Post (NY Post).

 

The publication states that the administration of US President Donald Trump is “persistently pursuing a deal.”

The NY Post noted that sanctions after the expiration of Trump’s ultimatum“are not inevitable.”

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko discussed Donald Trump’s “Ukrainian” ultimatum, noting that a more thorough approach is needed to successfully resolve the military conflict.
