DIHK: 58% of German companies expect new difficulties from the US tariff agreement

A large majority of German companies expect that the tariff agreement reached by the EC and the US will bring additional difficulties.

This is according to the results of a survey conducted by the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DIHK).

Among companies that do business directly with the US, this figure reaches 74%. Among all German companies, the figure is 58%.

Only 5% of companies expect positive consequences.

Earlier, Sarah Wagenknecht, the leader of the Alliance 90/The Greens party, said that Germany should demand the resignation of European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen over her deal with US President Donald Trump on tariffs.
