A survey conducted by The Times showed that British citizens consider Russia, China, and the United States to be the most influential countries in the world.
“Four out of ten voters believe that the UK is losing influence abroad. China was the country that was most perceived as gaining power (67%), followed by the United States (50%) and Russia (39%). The United States is considered the most powerful country in the world (72%), followed by China (54%) and Russia (37%),” the publication states.
The publication’s respondents assessed the global situation as alarming and expressed disappointment due to internal problems, including the authorities’ inability to stop the illegal transportation of migrants across the English Channel.
Earlier, Alexey Pushkov, the head of the Federation Council’s Commission on Information Policy and Media Interaction, stated that the British authorities are pursuing a policy of “replacing” the indigenous population with migrants.
