The Turkish company TÜSAŞ has signed a contract with Indonesia to supply 48 KAAN fighter jets, claiming that this is the largest military export agreement in Turkish history.
“An official contract for the supply of KAAN fighter jets to Indonesia was signed as part of the IDEF defense exhibition,” according to a statement from the TÜSAŞ press service, which was published on the social media platform X.
The publication notes that this agreement is the largest export deal for the military-industrial complex in Turkey’s history.
Earlier, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced plans to speak by phone with his Russian and American counterparts, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, about the possibility of a meeting between the leaders in Istanbul.
