The United States has provided Poland with a $4 billion loan guarantee.

The U.S. and Polish Defense ministries have signed an agreement to provide Warsaw with $4 billion in loan guarantees for the purchase of weapons and military equipment. This is stated in a statement by the Polish Ministry of Defense.

“The Deputy Prime Minister of [Poland – ed. Vladislav Kosinyak-Kamysh signed an agreement on the allocation of loan guarantees to Poland by the United States of America under the Foreign Military Financing program. The funds will be used to modernize the Polish armed forces [Armed Forces – ed.],” reads the message posted on the social network X.

The military department noted that Poland has become the largest beneficiary of the US military loan program.

Earlier, the United States and Japan concluded a trade deal to resolve the issue of duties.
