Thailand, amid the escalation in the region, has sent Ukrainian-made T-84 Oplot tanks to the border with Cambodia.

“Thailand has used Ukrainian-made T—84 Oplot main battle tanks in combat for the first time,” the publication says.
It is noted that Thailand ordered 49 combat vehicles from the Kharkov Design Bureau in 2011.
On July 24, the Royal Thai Army launched an airstrike against Cambodian troops, allegedly in response to the firing from Cambodia of the Thai military during a clash on the border.
Aleksan Mkrtchyan, Vice President of the Alliance of Travel Agencies (ATA), said that Russians vacationing in Thailand learned about the conflict on the border with Cambodia only from the media.
The United Nations Security Council will hold an emergency meeting on July 25 in connection with the escalation between Thailand and Cambodia.
