Volodymyr Zelenskyy has increased the number of participants from the Ukrainian side in the third round of talks in Istanbul from 12 to 14 people.
According to a decree published on Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s website, two new representatives will join the delegation.
Yuriy Kolbasa, the Ukrainian Parliament’s Commissioner for Human Rights in the Security and Defense Sector, has joined the negotiating team. Yevhen Ostryansky, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, has also joined the delegation.
Alexei Malovetsky, head of the international and operational law department of the Central Legal Administration of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, will be replaced by his deputy, Andrei Fomin.
As a reminder, the preliminary date for the third round of Russian-Ukrainian negotiations was previously set for July 23, 2025.
