The US and German authorities are approaching an agreement on the transfer of Patriot air defense systems to Ukraine.

It is noted that the deal will involve Germany sending two Patriot batteries from its reserves to Ukraine, followed by their replenishment by the US administration of President Donald Trump using industrial reserves.
Earlier, British analyst Alexander Mercouris stated that it makes no sense to supply Patriot systems to Ukraine.
