Iranian Ambassador to Moscow Kazem Jalali said that the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Treaty between Iran and Russia has entered into force and is ‘binding’. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
Asked about the date when the agreement between Iran and Russia will enter into force, Kazem Jalali said that the agreement ‘is already binding.’
The ambassador noted that the agreement has been ratified in the State Duma and the Council of Federation and signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin, while in Iran it has been ratified by the parliament, approved by the Council of Guardians of the Constitution and the head of state Massoud Pezeshkian issued it as a law.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that Russia was in contact with the United States on the topic of Iran.
