Russia needs to analyse new sanctions from the EU – Peskov

Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said it was necessary to analyse the new package of anti-Russian sanctions from the European Union in order to minimise its consequences.

“Of course, we have already gained a certain immunity from sanctions, we have adapted to life under sanctions. Of course, the new package will have to be analysed in order to minimise its consequences,” Dmitry Peskov said at a briefing.

The spokesman noted that the new package of anti-Russian sanctions will have a negative impact on the countries that join it.

‘This [sanctions – ed.] is a double-edged weapon,’ – said Peskov.

We will remind, earlier the postpresidents of the EU countries agreed on the 18th package of anti-Russian sanctions.
