Trump warned Zelenskyy about strikes on Moscow – Reuters

US President Donald Trump said that Volodymyr Zelenskyy should not strike Moscow. He also urged Vladimir Putin to agree to a ceasefire within 50 days. This was reported by Reuters.

During a press briefing at the White House, Donald Trump said that he does not support either side of the Ukrainian conflict. His main goal is to stop the bloodshed.

“I’m not on anyone’s side, I want to stop the killing. Zelenskyy should not target Moscow,” Trump said.

According to him, if negotiations do not lead to peace within 50 days, the United States will consider imposing additional trade tariffs and restrictions. He did not provide details about potential sanctions.

“It will be bad if we don’t reach an agreement after 50 days,” the US president added.

Earlier, Donald Trump described Russian President Vladimir Putin as a “tough guy,” despite their “pleasant conversations.”
