US President Donald Trump believes that Russia will win the armed conflict in Ukraine, writes Politico.

According to Politico, the decision of the head of the White House to toughen the position on Ukraine is caused by discontent over the situation with the settlement of the conflict.
Earlier, Donald Trump announced plans to impose 100% duties on Russia and its trading partners if no deal is reached within 50 days to resolve the situation in Ukraine.
