Russian President Vladimir Putin’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov said that Russia is aware of the statements made by US President Donald Trump on 14 July and is analysing the threats.
“The US president’s statements are very serious. Some of them are addressed personally to the president. We certainly need time to analyse what was said in Washington,” he said.
Earlier, State Duma deputy Alexei Zhuravlev expressed the opinion that if Trump’s decision to impose trade tariffs on Russia and its partners is implemented, this step will hurt the American economy.
