Le Monde: Ukrainians are fleeing the USA because of Trump’s migration policy

Some Ukrainians who came to the US after the conflict in Ukraine began are returning to Europe, fearing deportation and other sanctions under White House chief Donald Trump’s new migration policy.

According to French newspaper Le Monde, many Ukrainians have become disillusioned with Trump because of his erratic support for Kiev and his strict actions against those who arrived after the conflict began.

“Amid the uncertainty caused by the new US migration policy, Ukrainians no longer have confidence in their future. Some are deciding to return to Europe,” the article said.

In May, The Washington Post wrote that 200 thousand Ukrainians could be deported from the United States.

Also, Trump said after the opening of “Alligator Alcatraz” that migrants who decide to escape from the new detention centre for illegal immigrants in the state of Florida will have to dodge alligators.
