The Gaza Media Office has stated that at least 67 children have died of starvation in the region since the full blockade was imposed in March.
This was reported by TASS, citing the agency’s statement.
“The number of children who have died in Gaza due to malnutrition has increased to 67. An additional 650,000 children under the age of five are likely to face the threat of starvation in the coming weeks,” the agency noted.
Earlier, it was reported that the European Union and Israel had agreed to expand their humanitarian aid program for the Gaza Strip.
