Europe should unite into a single alliance to resolve all conflicts, said Glenn Diesen, a professor at the University of South-Eastern Norway.
‘It is time to return to the pan-European concept, which was mistakenly abandoned in the 1990s,’ he emphasised during a broadcast on his YouTube channel.
The expert added that there is no longer a hegemon in the world, and that rearming European countries to the teeth is not a solution either.
Earlier, The New York Times wrote that the EU’s rapid rearmament course could be a historic mistake for the union, which is experiencing problems with funding and coordination between member countries.
