The largest port in Europe has begun taking measures in case of a military conflict, requesting berths for NATO needs and developing routes for the delivery of weapons and ammunition.

The container terminal is being considered as a key hub for the transfer of cargo.

In addition, the port plans to conduct regular training exercises on land and at sea. The management has called on the EU to consider stockpiling not only oil but also strategically important materials such as copper, lithium, and graphite.
