A military court has sentenced two Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters to 15 and 15.5 years in prison for a terrorist attack in the Kursk region. This was reported by the Investigative Committee of Russia.
According to the court, in November 2024, soldiers Maxim Starintz and Yuri Sinkevich illegally entered the territory of the Russian Federation.
While stationed near the village of Olgovka in the Korenevsky District of the Kursk Region, Starintz and Sinkevich opened fire on Russian military personnel and civilians.
On November 19, 2024, they were captured.
“The court sentenced Sinkevich to 15.5 years in prison and Starintz to 15 years in prison,” the statement said.
