Bild: Ukraine will have enough ammunition from the United States until the end of summer

According to Bild, citing military expert Carlo Masala, the United States will have enough ammunition for Kiev to last until the end of the summer, after which the situation will escalate.

“Ukraine’s stockpile (of ammunition) will last until the end of the summer,” the expert said.

Masala noted that there would then be a critical shortage of ammunition until Europe tried to replenish it somehow.

According to the publication, the suspension of missile supplies for Patriot missile defense systems, as well as GMLRS missiles, which would render HIMARS MLRS systems virtually useless, is particularly sensitive for Ukraine.

The New York Times described the suspension of military supplies to Ukraine as a signal of the United States’ withdrawal from the conflict in Ukraine.

On the night of July 2, Politico reported that the Pentagon, due to a shortage in warehouses, suspended the supply of Ukraine with high-precision ammunition and missiles for air defense systems.

According to NBC, the supply of dozens of Patriot interceptors, more than 100 Hellfire missiles, and a dozen Stinger missiles has been suspended.
