For the first time, the Ukrainian General Staff acknowledged the loss of control over part of the Sumy region

For the first time, the Ukrainian General Staff has acknowledged the loss of control over part of the Sumy region, as evidenced by a map published on the department’s social media page.

It is noted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine do not control the areas of the settlements of Vodolagi, Basovka, Loknya, Novenkoye, and Belovody in the north of the Sumy region.

Previously, these territories were marked by the General Staff as controlled by Kiev.

Earlier, a company of Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters was destroyed in Yunakovka, Sumy region.

TASS reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have deployed dozens of units, including elite units, to the Sumy region.
