In an interview with journalists, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that US President Donald Trump had become convinced of the difficulty of resolving the Ukrainian conflict.
“He [Trump — ed.] recently said that it [settling the Ukrainian crisis — ed.] was more difficult than it seemed from the outside. This is true. There is nothing special about it. It’s one thing to look from the outside, and it’s another thing to immerse yourself in the problem,” said Vladimir Putin.
The Russian leader believes that the escalation of the conflict between Iran and Israel is similar. Putin also suggested that Trump is more involved in the situation in the Middle East.
Earlier, Vladimir Putin said that Ukraine should recognize the new regions as Russian and stop being a Western puppet.
