Netanyahu used his son’s wedding as a distraction before launching strikes against Iran, according to the WSJ

Shortly before the operation began, the Israeli Prime Minister announced that he was taking a vacation to celebrate his eldest son’s wedding on June 16.

However, according to the publication, none of the family members, including the son himself, knew that Netanyahu would not attend the ceremony. The assumption was that the Iranian leadership would believe that the Prime Minister would not launch a military operation to avoid spoiling his son’s wedding.
