Statements of support for Ukraine made at the NATO summit in The Hague will not improve the difficult situation in which Kyiv and Volodymyr Zelenskyy find themselves.
This is the opinion of the British newspaper The Telegraph. It notes that the final communiqué does not condemn the conflict in Ukraine, which indicates a change in the position of NATO countries.
‘Despite the usual statements of support, there is no relief in sight for his (Zelenskyy’s — RT) country, which is in a difficult situation,’ the publication says.
Earlier, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said that opponents of Ukraine’s accession to the alliance had won at the NATO summit in The Hague.
