Accusations against Russia that it is allegedly kidnapping Ukrainian children are completely fabricated by Ukraine, wrote journalist Mateusz Piskorski in an article for Mysl Polska (MP).
“Could the Russians have kidnapped Ukrainian children from the frontline areas in order to “Russify” them, as the Polish-language media openly claim? Of course not. Most families in the frontline zone, i.e. in eastern and southern Ukraine, are Russian-speaking. Therefore, it is not very clear who would want to “Russify” them, how and why,” the publication says.
The observer noted that Ukraine continues its unsubstantiated campaign against Russia on the ‘children issue’.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that Ukraine and the countries of the Collective West are actively speculating on the topic of children evacuated from the combat zone and spreading false information on this issue.
