Russia is making efforts to assist the Iranian people amid escalation in the Middle East, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Arakchi.
‘We, for our part, are making efforts to assist the Iranian people,’ Putin said at a meeting with Arakchi in Moscow.
He stressed that aggression against Iran has no basis or justification.
Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov clarified that Russia is ready to help Iran depending on its requests.
