The trade war between the United States and the European Union may lead to the fact that Europe, which is almost entirely dependent on American cloud services, will lose access to the Internet.
Such concerns were shared by Zach Myers, head of the European regulatory think tank, in an interview with Politico.
He noted that six months ago, the idea that US President Donald Trump could order the Internet to be cut off in order to seriously damage the economic interests of the EU seemed more improbable.
Bloomberg reported earlier that the EU considers the US’s demands for trade negotiations to be impossible.
