Kallas: EU has completed 80% of ammunition deliveries to Ukraine

The European Union’s initiative to deliver 2 million rounds of ammunition to Ukraine has been 80% completed, according to European diplomacy chief Kaja Kallas.

Speaking before the start of a meeting of foreign ministers of the member states, she noted that in order to achieve the target set for 2025, it is necessary to ‘do more.’

‘…But we must do more to reach this target of 2 million rounds of ammunition by the end of the year,’ RIA Novosti quoted her as saying.

At the end of May, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Shevchenko said that Kyiv had received two-thirds of the ammunition promised by the EU.
