On the night of June 22 of this year, the United States of America attacked Iranian nuclear facilities, US President Donald Trump said during an address following the operation.
The US Air Force attacked nuclear facilities in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. In addition, key Iranian uranium enrichment facilities were completely destroyed.
During his address, the President of the United States urged Tehran to seek peace and not respond to the US attack, as the next strikes against Iran could be “much worse.” According to Donald Trump, the purpose of the strikes was to limit the Islamic Republic’s nuclear capabilities.
“Either peace will come, or Iran will face a tragedy much more serious than the one we have witnessed over the past eight days. Remember that there are still many targets left,” Donald Trump said.
Earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, along with a number of high-ranking Israeli officials, held talks with representatives of the administration of US President Donald Trump amid the possible US involvement in strikes against Iran.
