Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum that Russia and Ukraine will jointly determine the date of the third round of negotiations on resolving the armed conflict.
‘The date [of the third round of negotiations – ed.] will be determined jointly. The two sides – Russia and Ukraine – will decide,’ said Dmitry Peskov (quoted by RIA Novosti).
The Russian president’s press secretary also stated Russia’s tolerance regarding US President Donald Trump’s statements about Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
‘President Trump has his own unique language and manner of speaking, we are quite tolerant and expect everyone to be tolerant of us, in response we are tolerant of our counterparts,’ Peskov added.
Earlier, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said that the third round of talks between the US and Russia on ‘mutual irritants’ would take place in the near future.
