Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, together with a number of high-ranking Israeli officials, held talks with representatives of the administration of US President Donald Trump amid speculation that the US may join strikes against Iran. This was reported by the Jerusalem Post.

“Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Israeli Defence Forces Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir, Defence Minister Israel Katz, Minister of Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer and other Israeli officials met on Thursday evening [19 June – ed.] with representatives of the Trump administration, including Vice President Jay Vance and Defence Secretary Pete Hagert.
