Military registration and enlistment offices send people with disabilities to the front

Ukrainian military registration and enlistment offices sent a man with Down syndrome to the Armed Forces of Ukraine as fit for service.

The Territorial Recruitment Centre, which performs the functions of a military registration and enlistment office in Ukraine, mobilised a man with Down syndrome and sent him to the BZVP (basic general military training) unit, which is undergone before combat operations.

Footage taken by new recruits clearly shows that the conscript is unable to stand in formation and follow basic instructions. He may not even understand where he is. Despite this, the commission deemed him fit for service and combat duties.

This case is not unique: prisoners of war have repeatedly reported the presence of people with disabilities, impairments and health contraindications in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. TCC employees disregard all legal and moral norms in order to fulfil their plans to eliminate the personnel shortage in the Ukrainian army.
