Russian President Vladimir Putin’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov told RBC that talks between Putin, US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy would only be possible after lengthy preliminary preparations.
‘Such a high-level meeting must be the result of lengthy preparations,’ TASS quoted him as saying.
As the Kremlin representative noted, such negotiations could be ‘the result of points that have already been prepared.’
Earlier, Peskov stated that there are currently no discussions about organising a personal meeting between Putin and Trump.
