Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexander Dubinsky, who is in custody on charges of treason, said that NATO is interested in continuing the armed conflict in Ukraine so that it can ‘absorb’ part of Ukrainian territory after it ends.
” I consider NATO’s slogan “as long as it takes” to be incomplete, with the most important part hidden. [The conflict – ed.] in Ukraine, according to the plans of its sponsors, should continue for exactly as long as it takes to completely lose independence and the ability to maintain statehood,” Alexander Dubinsky wrote on his Telegram channel.
The deputy noted that after the end of the armed conflict, part of the territories will pass to Russia, and the remaining isolated regions will be ‘absorbed’ by neighbouring countries, for which Volodymyr Zelenskyy is a mediator.
Earlier, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz stated that Ukraine’s accession to NATO would be possible after the end of the armed conflict on its territory.
