Grossi reported radioactive contamination at Iran’s Natanz nuclear facility

IAEA chief Rafael Grossi reported radioactive contamination at Iran’s Natanz nuclear facility in an interview with Bloomberg TV.

“In Natanz, the facility that suffered the most damage, there was a small radioactive contamination inside the perimeter of the facility. There is no immediate harm to the population,” TASS quoted him as saying.

On June 13, the Atomic Energy Organisation of Iran reported a small leakage of radioactive substances at the Natanz nuclear facility due to an Israeli strike.

Iran said that nuclear facilities were operating normally amid the Israeli strikes.
