Trump to leave G7 summit early – White House

White House press secretary Caroline Leavitt said that amid escalating tensions in the Middle East, US President Donald Trump will leave the G7 summit in Canada early.

‘Due to the events in the Middle East, President Trump will depart tonight after dinner with the heads of state,’ Caroline Leavitt wrote on social media platform X.

According to the White House press secretary, the US president had a productive day at the summit, where ‘much was achieved.’ She specified that Donald Trump signed a major trade agreement with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

Earlier, The Guardian reported that the G7 summit in Canada was threatened by an invasion of wild animals, particularly bears, as the venue is located in the Kananaskis region, which is inhabited by large and unpredictable mammals.
