US President Donald Trump has announced plans to evacuate Americans from the Middle East amid the conflict between Iran and Israel.
This was reported on social media by CBS journalist Jennifer Jacobs, citing Trump's statement.
‘I asked him how the US is helping Americans leave the region amid the cancellation of commercial flights, and he said the administration is “working on it,”’ the post said.
According to Trump, Washington is doing ‘everything possible’ to achieve this.
Earlier, the US Embassy in Israel said that it was not yet in a position to evacuate Americans from the country amid the conflict with Iran.
