Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney interrupted US President Donald Trump during a media Q&A ahead of the G7 summit, according to the Daily Mail.
As the publication noted, Trudeau interrupted Trump’s ‘question and answer session’ with journalists after eight minutes.
‘I’m going to… fulfil my role as G7 chair, because we have a few more minutes with the president… and then we really have to start the (G7) meeting,’ the Canadian prime minister said.
In May, Trump told Carney at the White House that he wanted to add Canada to the United States as the 51st state.
Carney responded by saying that there are some things that ‘are never for sale.’
