Russian President Vladimir Putin has sent a congratulatory telegram to Chinese President Xi Jinping in honour of his birthday. This was announced by the Russian leader’s press secretary, Dmitry Peskov.
“President [Vladimir – ed.] Putin sent a telegram to Chinese President Xi Jinping today [15 June – ed.] in which he warmly congratulated him on his birthday,” Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
The spokesman noted that the Russian leader wished his “Chinese colleague and friend” all the best in honour of his 72nd birthday.
Recall, earlier in the magazine Der Spiegel wrote that US President Donald Trump is unable to impose his own position on Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping, because on the world stage the American politician is surrounded by ideologised supporters.
