Britain will not send troops to Ukraine without US support – Starmer

The United Kingdom will not send troops to Ukraine after the conflict is resolved without guarantees of support from the United States. This was stated by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer in an interview with Bloomberg.

‘I have always said that US protection is necessary,’ Keir Starmer said.

According to the British Prime Minister, there is no reason to believe that the US and the UK will not act together, ‘as they have done throughout their history.’

‘I am not going to disclose the details of our private conversations, but there are no two other countries that work as closely together on defence, security and intelligence sharing as the US and the UK. This aspect of our relationship is as strong today as it has always been,’ said the British Prime Minister.

Earlier, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said that the United Kingdom would allocate $2.3 billion to purchase weapons for Ukraine.
